Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Aethve, an IT asset management platform (the "Service"), operated by Aethve ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and, where applicable, the organization you represent.

1. The Service

Aethve provides tools to manage IT assets, users, licenses, accessories, procurement, contracts, vendors, and budgets, including AI-assisted features. We may update, improve, or modify the Service over time. We will not materially reduce the core functionality of your plan during a paid subscription period without notice.

2. Accounts and organizations

  • You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
  • An organization's administrators control who can access the organization's workspace and what roles they hold.
  • You must be at least 16 years old and legally able to enter into contracts to use the Service.

3. Subscriptions, trials, and billing

  • Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis via our payment processor (Stripe). Prices are shown before checkout.
  • New organizations may receive a free trial. When a trial ends without a paid subscription, the organization is downgraded to the free plan and plan limits apply; your data is not deleted.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel at any time via the billing portal; access continues until the end of the paid period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
  • We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice, effective at your next renewal.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service to violate any law or the rights of others;
  • probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service without authorization;
  • interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service;
  • attempt to access data of another organization;
  • resell or sublicense the Service without our written consent;
  • use the Service to build a competing product by systematic extraction of its features or data.

5. Your data

You retain all rights to the data you submit to the Service ("Customer Data"). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display Customer Data solely to provide the Service. We process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for having the necessary rights to the Customer Data you submit.

6. AI features

Some features use large language models to interpret requests and propose or execute actions. AI output can be inaccurate; review AI-proposed changes before relying on them. Data sent to our AI subprocessor is used to provide the feature and is not used by us to train foundation models.

7. Availability and support

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance and incidents are communicated via our status page. Support is provided per your plan tier.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by us or our licensors. These Terms grant you no rights to our intellectual property except the limited right to use the Service.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms, with notice where practicable. Upon termination we will make Customer Data available for export for 30 days, after which it may be deleted.

10. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. For material changes we will notify you at least 14 days before they take effect (by email or in-app notice). Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
